چکیده

IntroductionAbstractBackground: AKI is a common complication in hospitalized patients. Several risk score models have been designed for ICU Our aim was to establish prediction general wards.MethodsAll patients from 1/7/ 2019 31/12/2019 who developed were included. We used our prospective cohort develop and validate this model of wards patients.ResultsA 15 points, based on clinical laboratory data, AKI. demonstrated that cutoff value ≥ 4 predictor The AUC ROC 0.950, 95% P-value <0.001 with sensitivity 94.39 specificity 81.43. By applying validation group (n=122) showed 0.826.ConclusionsWe validated new non-ICU good specificity. No conflict interest wards.

AKI-CLIF-SOFA: a novel prognostic score for critically ill cirrhotic patients with acute kidney injury

Critically ill cirrhotic patients with acute kidney injury (AKI) are associated with high mortality rates. The aims of this study were to develop a specific prognostic score for critically ill cirrhotic patients with AKI, the acute kidney injury - Chronic Liver Failure - Sequential Organ Failure- Assessment score (AKI-CLIF-SOFA) score. This study focused on 527 cirrhotic patients with AKI admit...

Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) biomarker.

The kidney has a remarkable capacity to withstand insults for an extended period of time. The sensitivities of individual renal cells to injury vary depending on their type, position in the nephron, local vascularization, and the nature of injury. The resulting kidney injury is a product of the interplay between cell dysfunction, cell death, proliferation, inflammation, and recovery. The Acute...

Risk Factors of Acute Kidney Injury in Patients with Sepsis; A Cross-Sectional Study

Background and Objective: Due to the importance of acute kidney injury associated in patients with sepsis and the impact of various factors on mortality and hospital stay of these patients, this study was conducted to investigate the clinical features and risk factors for acute kidney injury in patients with sepsis. In addition, we examined whether the severity of acute kidney injury affected c...

Developing and Validating a Risk Score for Lower-Extremity Amputation in Patients Hospitalized for a Diabetic Foot Infection

OBJECTIVE Diabetic foot infection is the predominant predisposing factor to nontraumatic lower-extremity amputation (LEA), but few studies have investigated which specific risk factors are most associated with LEA. We sought to develop and validate a risk score to aid in the early identification of patients hospitalized for diabetic foot infection who are at highest risk of LEA. RESEARCH DESI...
